Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde 1925 durch den Oberpräsidenten der preußischen Provinz Westfalen verliehen wird aber bereits seit dem 18. Jahrhundert geführt. Es ist abgeleitet von einem Siegel aus dem Jahre 1690. Es zeigt die früheren Farben Rot und Silber des Hochstifts Paderborn als Zeichen der früheren Zugehörigkeit. |
