Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Udorf seit 1975 Stadtteil von Marsberg: „Gespalten in Silber (Weiß) und Rot über einem goldenen (gelben) Hügel, darin schwebend ein achtzackiger schwarzer Stern; vorn ein goldener (gelber) Wellenpfahl belegt mit einem zehnspeichigen schwarzen Mühlrad und hinten eine goldene (gelbe) Birke mit silbernem (weißem) Stamm.“

Das Wappen wurde nie genehmigt. Ein Grund könnte der Verstoß gegen die heraldische Farbregel sein; darüber hinaus zeigt das Wappen zu viele Symbole (Heroldsbild).

Der Wellenpfahl steht für die Orpe, das Wassermühlrad für den Udorfer Eisenhammer, welcher von einer Wassermühle angetrieben wurde. Die Birke stellt eine für die Gegend typischen Baum dar und weißt zugleich auf die Natur hin. Der Stern ist der Stern des Fürstentums Waldeck, zudem früher große Gemeindeteile gehörten.
English: „Party per pale Argent and gules above a hill Or, charged with a pending eight rays star sable ; ahead a pale wavy Or, charged with an ten spoked water wheel sable and rear a birch tree Or with a stem Argent.“

The arms were never granted. One reason may be the offence against heraldic rules, especially against tinctures rules, beyond that there are too many symbols on the arms.

The pale wavy and the water wheel symbolize the Orpe river und and the water mill at the "Udorfer Eisenhammer". The birch tree is a typical tree in the area, its stands further for the nice nature. The star is the star of the Principality of Waldeck, to which some parts of the village belonged in former times.
