Description
English: „The arms were designed after the merger (1913) of Broich and Orbroich in 1928 by Wolfgang Pagenstecher. The upper part shows a divided chief, representing the two different villages. The deer is the symbol of St. Hubert after which the new municipality was named."
Deutsch: „Unter von Gold (Gelb) und Silber (Weiß) schrägrechts geteiltem Schildhaupt in Grün auf einem schwebenden silbernen (weißen) Vierberg stehender silberner (weißer) Hirsch mit goldenem (gelbem) Waffen und einem goldenem (gelbem) Kleeblattkreuz zwischen den Stangen.“ Gold und Silber stehen für die ehemaligen Gemeinden Broich und Orbroich Der Hirsch steht für den Namen St. Hubert, Schutzpatron der Jäger.
