DescriptionDEU Ruettenscheid COA.svg |
The arms were drawn by Kurt Schweder who designed coats of arms for all districts of Essen in die 1980s; they were never official used, but meanwhile recognized by the citizens of Essen and its districts. The arms are derived from the arms of the family von Schielt (lilia leaves) and the family Steenshuis (crosses bottony). |
