Blazon InfoField | Deutsch: „Gespalten; vorne wieder gespalten in Gold (Gelb) und Schwarz, belegt mit einem gebogenen schrägen grünen Rautenkranz, hinten in Grün unter einem auffliegenden linksgerichteten silberne (weiße) Taube aus dem Schildfuß wachsende züngelnde rot-goldene (gelbe) Flammen.“ Im vorderen Teil ist das geminderte sächsische Wappen zu sehen, das auf die frühere Zugehörigkeit der Gemeinde zum Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg hinweist. Die Farben Silber und Grün sind die Farben Coburgs. Der hintere Teil bezieht sich auf die Zerstörungen des Dorfes während der Kriegshandlungen am 10. April 1945 durch die Flammen und seinen Wiederaufbau 1946 durch die Friedenstaube. English: „Per pale; right, per pale or and sable charged with a curved bendy crancelin vert; left, below a pigeon couped Argent sinister flames gules Or issuant out of the base.“ The arms show in the right the arms of Saxe-Coburg, where the village belonged to. Argent and vert are the colours of Saxe-Coburg. The left part remembers on the destructions in World War II on April 10, 1945 (flames) and the rebuilding of the village in 1946 (dove of piece). |
