Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Bauerschaft Fulerum, seit 1910 Stadtteil von Essen: „In Silber (Weiß) über schwarz - silber (weiß) - grün gespickeltem Schildfuß, wachsend drei schwarze Rohrkolben mit grünen Blättern.“ Das Wappen wurde von Kurt Schweder entworfen und hatte nie offiziellen Charakter. Ende der 1980er Jahre schuf der Heraldiker für alle Essener Stadtteile Wappen. Sie sind inzwischen von der Essener Bevölkerung gut angenommen worden. Das Wappen ist ein sogenanntes redendes Wappen"; die Spickel spielen auf die Landschaft, eine Weidefläche mit durchscheinenden, großen, faulen schwarzen Wasserflächen an. Der Rohrkolben ist eine typische Wasserpflanze für ein solches Gebiet.English: „Argent, above a terrace base charged with triangles sable, Argent and vert, three upright bulrushes sable with leaves vert.“
The arms were drawn by Kurt Schweder who designed coats of arms for all districts of Essen in die 1980s; they were never official used, but meanwhile recognized by the citizens of Essen and its districts. The arms are canting; the bulrusches, typical plants in swamplands grow on a pasture area with gauzy big, rotten, black surfaces of the water. |
