Deutsch: Wappen des Stadtteils Emmelsum der Stadt Voerde (Niederrhein): „In Grün eine schwarz-goldene (gelbe) Biene.“ Es handelt sich hier um ein sogenanntes "redendes Wappen" - Emmelsum abgeleitet von Imme-Biene. Das Wappen ist abgeleitet vom Siegel der ersten Schule des Ortes, welches einen Bienenkorb mit Bienen zeigt.
English: The arms is canting from Emme - Imme - bee. Its derived from a seal of a school of the village. It shows a bee hive with flying bees.
