Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Dreierwalde, seit 1975 Ortsteil von Hörstel: „In einem mit 13 grünen Eichenblättern bestreuten goldenen (gelben) Schild, drei rote Fachwerkgiebel im Verhältnis 2:1 mit je zwei schwarzen Fenstern, Giebelspitze und Tor.“ Das Wappen ist "redend"; Die für die Gegend typischen Fachwerkgiebel stehen für "Dreier-", die Eichenblätter für "-walde" und die Farben sind die des Bistums Münster, Gold und Rot.
English: „Or, a 13 oak leaves vert strewn shield, three half-timbered gables in ratio 2:1 each with two windows, gate and gable top sable.“ The arms were granted on May 14, 1962, but were already designed in 1940. The arms are canting, Dreierwalde, or three-forest, showing three typical houses in an oak forest.
