Object history Die obere Schildhälfte verweist auf die ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zur Wild- und Rheingrafschaft und zeigt das Gerichtssiegel des Wild – und Rheingräflichen Hochgerichtes Rhaunen. Die drei Bäume symbolisieren den reichen Waldbestand. Der Viergemeindewald (Kirchspielwald) wurde bereits am 29.8.1680 urkundlich erwähnt.
