Object history
Deutsch: Markgraf Georg Friedrich von Ansbach verlieh der Gemeinde am 15. März 1575 dieses Wappen. Während der Schildfuß das zollerische Stammwappen des Markgrafen zeigt, soll der auf blauem Feld säende Bauer wahrscheinlich auf den Ortsnamen hinweisen. Nachdem die Gemeinde-Dienstsiegel zeitweilig verfälschte Abwandlungen aufgewiesen hatten, beschloss der Gemeinderat am 12. April 1960, das beschriebene Wappen wieder aufzunehmen. Gleichzeitig bestimmte er die aus dem Wappen abgeleiteten Flaggenfarben.
