Deutsch: Das Wappen zeigt den Reichsadler in Erinnerung an den Reichsfronhof nachgewisen 885, den Pfälzer Löwen, als Zeichen der früheren Zugehörikeit zur Kurpfalz, das Sponheimer Schach als Zeichen der früheren Zugehörikeit zur Vorderen Grafschaft Sponheim, sowie den Arm mit dem Becher "redend" für den Ortsnamen.
English: The arms show the imperial eagle as sign for the former imperial demesne founded 855 nearby the village, the lion of Palatinate and the chequy part as symbols for the former belonging the Electoral Palatinate and to the County of Sponheim The arm with the goblet (german "Becher") is canting for the name of the municipality.
