Object history |
Deutsch: Der Flecken Neustadt-Harzburg erhielt am 1. April 1894 unter dem Namen „Bad Harzburg“ Stadtrechte. Noch im selben Jahr genehmigte die Regierung des Herzogtums Braunschweig der Stadt das vorstehend beschriebene Wappen. Nachdem am 1. März 1972 Bettingerode, Bündheim, Harlingerode und Westerode eingemeindet wurden beschloss der Rat der Stadt Bad Harzburg, das bisherige Wappen fortzuführen. Die Genehmigung dazu gab der Verwaltungspräsident von Braunschweig am 28. Juni 1973. |
