Deutsch: Das 1957 vom bayerischen Innenministerium verliehene Wappen erinnert durch die gekreuzten Schlüssel, Attribute des heiligen Petrus daran, dass Anger schon um 1000 als Schenkungsgut an das Kloster St. Peter in Salzburg und später als Stiftungsgut an das Augustinerkloster Höglwörth kam, das als Referenz an den Stiftspatron ebenfalls die gekreuzten Schlüssel im Wappen führte. Im Schildhaupt erscheinen die Farben des Erzstifts Salzburg das bis 1803 die Landeshoheit über die Gerichte links der Salzach hatte. Der Dreiberg erinnert an die Lage und die nahen Berge der Berchtesgadener Alpen. |
