Deutsch: Dem Amt Haßlinghausen wurde 1955 durch den Innenminister von Nordrhein-Westfalen ein Wappen verliehen. Es soll sich hier um ein vermeintlich "redendes Wappen" halten; Fälschlicherweise wurde vom Namensteil "Haßling-" Hasel abgeleitet. Der geschachte Schildfuß bezieht sich auf die Grafen von der Mark zu dem das Amt früher gehörte.
English: The arms were granted in 1955. The hazel branch should be allegedly a canting element (but "Haßling" isn´t derived from hazel (german Hasel)). The base chequy is derived from the arms of the County of Mark. |
