Object history |
English: The arms were granted in 1950. The arms are derived from two old seals of the largest municipalities Gahlen (keys) and Hünxe (star). Both seals show the patron saints St. Peter and St. Suitbert. The escarbuncle symbolises the former belonging to the Duchy of Cleves. |
