Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Voerde (Niederrhein): „In Schwarz ein goldenes (gelbes) fünfspeichiges Rad.“ Die obere Hälfte des Stadtwappens Voerde stammt von diesem Wappen. Es ist das Wappen des Geschlechtes "Syburg" von "Haus Voerde". Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um ein Wasserrad. Das Wappen kann seit dem 13. Jahrhundert nachgewiesen werden.
English: The arms show the upper part from the city of Voerde. It derived from the arms of the Lords of Syburg, owner from "Haus Voerde" since the 13th century. It is probably a water wheel.
