English: The arms are derived from the arms of the Lords of Schleiden."
Deutsch: „In Blau mit zwölf goldenen (gelben) Gegenhermelinen bestreut, ein nach rechts gewandter gold-(gelb-) -bekrönter, zweigeschwänzter, rotbezungter, silberner (weißer) Löwe schreitend.“ Das Wappen ist von dem Wappen der Herren von Schleiden abgeleitet worden.
