Summary[edit]

Description San Francisco December 1949. Photographing the DC-3 for a historical record has to be done from the rear to show all of the lettering of an airline name and the registration because of that large wing. But it is not as esthetic a view of this beautiful plane as a front view. This photo shows the ultimate test to show the N Number plus the company emblem on the nose and rear fuselage etc.
