Summary[edit]

Description
English: Photo taken 2021 of exhibits in Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a community-based museum in Rakkestad, Norway. The museum showcases around 3000 artifacts related to Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway and the Norwegian resistance movement during World War II from 1940 to 1945, and the corresponding historical era:
The plate orignates from the diplomatic vehicle of Dr. juris Curt Bräuer, Hitler's envoy to Norway in April 1940. The plate was removed upon liberation in 1945 when the car, a Mercedes, was taken over by the Oslo municipality.
