Night of November 1st. Tombs with offerings for the dead who return, as every year, to visit their living relatives.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: As is tradition in Mexico, in the early morning hours of November 2, dead relatives return to visit their living relatives. For this reason, in places like Michoacán, one of the few places that still preserve a good part of the Day of the Dead customs, families clean their graves, decorate them with the seasonal flower (cempasúchil) and make an offering (with the food and drink that their deceased loved) to go and wait for them at the cemetery and share with them every year on that special night.
