Description

Когато имаме полилей, захранен с две жила, можем да ползваме този прост регулатор на мощност за да регулираме силата на светене. Може да има и друго приложение - да служи за "плавно включване" - казват, че така се увеличава живота на крушките с нажежаема жичка. Съществуват устройства за "плавно включване", които първо включват крушката през диод и след достатъчно голям интервал от време (когато крушката загрее), започват да пропускат ток и в другата посока. Тези устройства ползват тиристор, който се управлява от напрежение, което се получава между електродите на кондензатор, който се зарежда през подходящ резистор.
