Français : Des curseurs déterminent, par juxtaposition des coordonnées, des objets dans le champs visuel. Selon João Vergílio Gallerani Cuter et Bento Prado Neto, les quatre curseurs désignent respectivement (en partant du haut) ː

- la mesure du rayon du cercle en couleur (r). - coordonnées du point central du cercle (a). - La position relative au cercle de couleur de l'observateur dans l'espace (b). - La couleur, associée à un nombre (F).

Deux déterminations de la même espèce sont impossibles.
