Italiano: La cuffia è costituitta da un archetto in metallo rivestito di gomma nera alle cui estremità sono fissati, per mezzo di un giunto di snodo, due padiglioni in metallo, verniciato di nero. Ogni padiglione è dotato di un cuscinetto di appoggio in gommapiuma. I padiglioni inoltre presentano un cavo elettrico per la trasmissione del segnale acustico agli altoparlanti collocati al loro interno.

Notizie storico-critiche
Il primo modello di questa cuffia venne introdotto nel 1937, continuando ad essere prodotto fino ad oggi. Inizialmente chiamate Dynamic Telephone (da cui il nome DT), soltanto dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale venne riconosciuto il loro valore nella riproduzione sonora.
