Español: La séptima estelación del hexaedro está representada por el cuboedro de Joel. Este poliedro posee 24 caras interiores triangulares isósceles. Ostenta 6 vértices interiores y 8 vértices intermedios, para un total de 14 vértices. Además tiene 24 aristas interiores y 12 aristas intermedias, para un total de 36 aristas.
Posee 6 caras cuadradas imaginarias y 6 vértices imaginarios. El conjunto de caras imaginarias del cuboedro de Joel define un hexaedro regular convexo. El Conjunto de vértices imaginarios definen un octaedro regular convexo. El cuboedro de Joel pertenece al grupo de los poliedros triangulares huecos. Si unimos el conjunto de los vértices interiores del cuboedro de Joel, y aplicamos los conceptos de truncado, entonces formamos un octaedro regular convexo, en la parte interna de este poliedro. En los poliedros huecos el número de caras interiores es directamente proporcional al número de aristas interiores. Caras interiores = Aristas interiores Además si utilizamos la plantilla del hexaedro tetrakis y la unimos formando 6 pirámides de base huecas, y luego la ensamblamos de formas que las caras imaginarias estén colocadas en posición intermedias, entonces tendremos como resultado el Cuboedro de Joel.
