| Description |
English: Croydon: Tramway flyover near Wandle Park Before the tramway was constructed in the late 1990s there had been a footbridge over the railway about 100 metres east of this point and exactly opposite the end of Rectory Grove. This had to be removed to allow construction of the flyover so that trams could access the old Wimbledon Branch railway. However, a new bridge was put in some 100 metres west - which is where the photographer was standing for this photograph. |
