| Description |
English: Croydon: St. George's Walk Looking east. Built in the very early 1960s, this was Croydon's first attempt at pedestrianised areas. Now the area is due for redevelopment so that most of the shops are closed and abandoned, leaving it as a draughty, dismal and somewhat threatening area. |
