| Description |
English: Crossing the A5 at 100 ft This is a familiar sight to hill walkers in Snowdonia, a low-flying Griffin helicopter. This belongs to the Search and Rescue Training Unit (SARTU) based at RAF Valley on Anglesey. The unit trains search and rescue helicopter pilots. A Griffin flying over our house in the early morning is a sure indication of good weather that day.
