Description
English: The Crescent Manufacturing Company was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1883 as Larsen Extract Company. By the early 20th century, Crescent was manufacturing 75 different extracts including Mapleine, as well as importing spices, coffee, and nuts. Crescent was sold to McCormick and Company in 1989, and consolidated its operations in Kent, Washington in 1990.

Pictured here is a driver with a Crescent Manufacturing Company wagon and team of horses.

This is Railroad Avenue (now Alaskan Way), just south of the foot of Jackson Street. The buildings at right are now (2022) part of the Merrill Place Condominiums. All significant buildings in this picture are still extant in 2022.

Cannot be before 1908 when the product "Mapleine" was introduced.
