Les entiers à 12c type Baie d'Along marron (et non brun-violet comme ceux vendus à Paris), avec mention «E.F.» arrivés par la Sibérie puis par bateaux japonais en 1943, sont utilisés par les Européens concentrés par les Japonais ainsi que par certains autochtones. Ces derniers sont d'autant plus remarqués qu'ils sont écrits en vietnamien et non en français (pour faire plaisir aux Japonais qui encouragent les vietnamiens à défendre leur identité ? ).

A la fin du printemps 1945, les anciens entiers «R.F.» bruns à 8c arrivés en 1941, avec affranchissement complémentaire à 4c, sont utilisés, après épuisement des cartes à 12 cts, arrivées aussi en très petit nombre en 1943.

Ces cartes sont normalement oblitérées par les services postaux, sans marque de censure apparente.

Entier carte postale à 12 cts baie d'Along, oblitéré 9/5/45, d'une épouse, transférée à Hà-Nôi, à son mari du service des douanes encore en poste à Tuyen Quang. Entre temps, il a été, à son tour, interné à Hà-Nôi et la carte est redirigée vers Hà-Nôi.
