English: Picture generated automatically as part of the VIGICOTE system operated by Actimar S.A. on behalf of SHOM (France), a project managed by the author. It shows the surface currents, mainly due to tides, on 12 August 2006, as measured by a WERA HF radar system. The blank areas are areas without measurements.
The maximum surface current is larger than 3 m/s (dark red). |
