| Description |
English: County Boundary path besides Walk Wood, Aldbury. This is an ancient track which was undoubtedly in use when the county boundary was agreed and so dates back at least to Saxon times.
On the left, in Hertfordshire, is Walk Wood 1503885, the golf course and the new gateway 1503886. On the right, in Buckinghamshire, is Higgins Spring 1503888. Looking through a gate behind where the photographer is standing there is a view towards Barley End and Clipper Down 1503887. On footpath maps it is shown as a permissive path which continues as a bridleway on the east side of Stocks Road. |
