Deutsch: Eckgebäude in Cottbus, August-Bebel-Straße 80, 1909/10; Jugendstil mit teils in sehr eigenwilliger Umsetzung aktueller Tendenzen. Mitte der 1990er Jahre Restaurierung unter Erhaltung zahlreicher Details. Stilgleiches Eck- und Anschlussgebäude im Rahmen der Blockrandbebauung. Gebäude annähernd symmetrisch mit zentralem polygonalen Erker mit Dachhaube und seitlichen Erkern mit Loggien und Krüppelwalm über dem Zwerchgiebel. Westlich anschließendes Gebäude mit annähernd symmetrischer Gliederung. In der Mitte zwei Erker, durch Balkone verbunden und mit Krüppelwalmdach abschließend. In der Gruppierung der Fenster und der farblichen und strukturellen Differenzierung des Putzes zeigen die Gebäude identische Gliederungselemente. Eher zurückhaltend der geometrische Dekor, charakteristisch für den späten Jugendstil. Zahlreiche Details wie Dachaufsätze, Balkongitter und Ornamentbänder der Traufzone noch vorhanden. Auch im Inneren noch umfassend von der bauzeitlichen Ausstattung geprägt. Eine der qualitätvollsten Architekturen des späten Jugendstils in Cottbus. Als markante, den Schillerplatz begrenzende Eckarchitektur auch von großer städtebaulicher Bedeutung; Kulturdenkmal
English: Corner building in Cottbus, August-Bebel-Straße 80, 1909/10; Art Nouveau with sometimes very outlandish implementation of former current trends. Restoration in the mid-1990s preserving many details. The same style corner and connecting building as part of the perimeter block development. Building approximately symmetrical with central polygonal oriel with roof cap and lateral oriels with loggias and half hip roof above the gable. West-facing building with approximately symmetrical structure. In the middle two oriels connected by balconies and ending with half hip roof. In the grouping of the windows and the color and structural differentiation of the plaster, the buildings show identical structural elements. The rather restrained geometric décor as characteristic of the late Art Nouveau style. Numerous details such as roof tops, balcony grilles and ornamental stripes of the eaves zone still available. Also in the interior still extensively characterized by the construction-time equipment. One of the most quality architectures of late Art Nouveau in Cottbus.
