Deutsch: Wohnhaus »Villa Anna« in Cottbus, Am Spreeufer 4, 1905/06, nach 1990 umfassend saniert. Abwechslungsreich gegliederter zweigeschossiger Putzbau mit weit vorkragenden Sattel- und Walmdächern, an der Südwestecke fassadenhoher, dreiseitiger Vorbau unter Pyramidendach; diesem wiederum polygonaler Standerker mit Balkonabschluss angefügt, in ihrer Form und Anordnung variierende Fenster und Kombination verschiedener Materialien: aus Holz der Balkon, Balkonbrüstungen, Fensterrahmungen und die Giebelgestaltung an der Westseite, aus behauenem und bossiertem Granit sowie Kleinpflaster die Sockelgeschossverblendungen und glatt verputzt die aufgehenden Wände. Einzige Stuckdekoration von Rosenband umrahmtes Schmuckfeld mit Erbauungsdatum und Aufschrift »Villa Anna« an der Straßenfassade. Architektonisch interessant gelöst der eingeschossige seitliche Eingangs-Anbau mit abgewalmtem Schutzdach über dem Zugang; dieser über geschwungene Freitreppe erschlossen (Handlauf und Antrittspfosten bauzeitlich). Durch seine Lage am Ufer des Mühlgrabens und seine malerische Architektur straßenbildprägendes Gebäude. Baugeschichtlich von Interesse als anspruchsvolles Beispiel eines großbürgerlichen Einfamilienwohnhauses der Jahrhundertwende in Formen des malerischen Villenstils von dem regional renommierten Architekten Robert Beutler; Kulturdenkmal
English: Residential house in Cottbus, Am Spreeufer 4, 1905/06, completely redeveloped after 1990. Varied structured two-storey plaster construction with far protruding gable and hip roofs, at the southwest corner façade-high, three-sided porch under pyramid roof; this in turn polygonal ground oriel attached with balcony, in shape and arrangement varying windows and combination of different materials: wooden balcony, balustrades, window frames and the west side gable design, of carved and embossed granite and paving the basement facing and smoothly plastered the rising walls. The only stucco decoration a rose band framed decorative field with date of construction and inscription »Villa Anna« on the street façade. Architecturally interesting solved the single-storey side entrance annex with an hipped roof canopy over the entrance; this over curved outdoor staircase (handrail and entrance post from building time). Due to its location on the banks of the Mühlgraben and its picturesque architecture street-scaping building. Architecturally interesting as a challenging example of a bourgeois family home from the turn of the century in forms of the picturesque villa style by the regionally renowned architect Robert Beutler; cultural heritage monument |
