| Description |
English: Cottages in Sustead. This view was taken along the unnamed road which leads through the village and onwards from there to Hanworth, further to the south. Sustead is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1085 by the names of Surstede and sutstede. It is a small village located about 6 kilometres to the southwest of Cromer, with an Old Hall > 504897 and a number of attractive cottages as well as an interesting round-tower church > 715030. |
