English: Cottage near Ballyshannon There are about 400 thatched buildings remaining in Co. Donegal, many in urgent need of attention. The limited availability of traditional building skills is an obstacle to the conservation of our heritage. It is encouraging to see that restoration work is underway on this cottage. |
