Cortinarius amabilis Bojantchev, Ammirati & Pastorino Image location: Rockville Hills Regional Park, Solano Co., California, USA Growing near deciduous oaks. Spores ~ 9.0-11.0 X 5.9-7.0 microns and coarsely verrucose. KOH on stem and flesh negative. KOH on cap gave a weak orangy color. Only 2nd time I’ve found these. Used references: Dimitar Bojantchev
