Summary[edit]

Description VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Michael Weber, an Old Dominion University student and intern at the Norfolk District, sits in the captain’s chair on the bridge of the Corps dredge vessel Currituck. Weber and several other district employees, including the district commander, met the crew, toured the vessel and saw first-hand how a hopper dredge works to re-nourish the shoreline.
