Copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount) c.1500-1700.
Description
English: Copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount) dating of probably post-medieval date (c.1500-1700).The object is circular in plan with four projection knops at the cardinal points.There are four perforations at the centre creating an openwork pattern in the form of a cross.Around the outer edge is a row of raised pellets.At the centre is a single large pellet.The reverse is plain but has the remains of two projection, presumably for attachment.

Length: 22.46mm; width: 22.69mm; thickness: 1.97mm; weight: 2.1g
