Description
English: A complete copper-alloy finger ring of probable post medieval date, dating from c. AD 1500 - c. AD1800.

The hoop is D-shaped in cross-section. The bezel is flat, vesica (pointed oval), in form and has punched decoration on its front face. This comprises nine punched ring-and-dot motifs - eight around the edge of the bezel with one in the centre. The ring is a mid to dark brown in colour and has an even patina.
