Description
English: A complete copper alloy coin weight of post-medieval date. The coin weight was used for weighing the Portuguese moidore and 'joe' gold coins, issued between 1760 and 1773 AD. Both faces are stamped with the letters S D above 10, 6. Indicating a weight equivalent to that of ten (13) shillings and six (6) pence.
