Title |
Copper alloy Medieval shield shaped harness pendant with some enamelling remaining |
||
Description |
English: Copper alloy Medieval shield shaped harness pendant with some enamelling and gilding remaining. It is very small, only 21mm in height. The front face of the pendant would have been decorated, possibly with a coat of arms. All that remains of this design are some small bits of blue and red enamel with some gilt visible. It has an attachment loop set perpendicular to the pendant and it is worn so the hole is not visible. |
