Muralto, villa Liverpool. Ritrovamento 1936. Reperto del 20-50 d.C. Coppa cilindrica, cosiddetta “degli uccelli”, decorazione dipinta a smalti policromi su una larga fascia che copre tutto il corpo: due uccelli opposti tra loro sono posati su tralci di vite che si intersecano e da cui partono foglie stilizzate di vigna e di edera, viticci e grappoli. Sul fondo esterno, al centro, si trova una stella a otto punte bianche e rosse alternate, incorniciata da una corona di macchie verdi. La coppa si trova all’interno del castello Visconteo Museo civico e archeologico di Locarno in Svizzera Scatto di Marco Del Torchio ed editing di Liviu ZalturDeutsch: Kaiserzeit, römische Kultur (I-IV Jahrhundert n. Muralto, Villa Liverpool. Entdeckung 1936. Fund aus der Zeit 20-50 n. Chr. Zylindrischer Kelch, sogenannter „Vögel“, mit polychromer Emaille bemalter Dekor auf einem breiten Band, das den gesamten Körper bedeckt: Zwei einander gegenüberliegende Vögel sind auf sich kreuzenden Weinranken platziert, aus denen stilisierte Wein- und Efeublätter, ranken und Büschel hervorgehen . Auf dem äußeren Hintergrund befindet sich in der Mitte ein Stern mit acht abwechselnd weißen und roten Punkten, eingerahmt von einer Krone aus grünen Punkten. Der Pokal befindet sich im Visconti-Schloss, dem städtischen und archäologischen Museum von Locarno in der Schweiz Aufgenommen von Marco Del Torchio und Schnitt von Liviu Zaltur |
