Description
Français : De gauche à droite : Thomas J. Coonan (ministre sans portefeuille), Martin B. Fisher (trésorier), Ésioff-Léon Patenaude (lieutenant-gouverneur), John S. Bourque (ministre des Travaux publics) et Alfred Morisset (greffier du Conseil exécutif). Photo prise le 12 ou le 13 juillet 1938, à l'occasion de la nouvelle assermentation de Coonan, Fisher et Bourque comme ministres du gouvernement de Maurice Duplessis. La nouvelle assermentation des ministres faisait suite à la démission du gouvernement décidée par Duplessis afin d'en expulser le ministre François Leduc, suivie d'une nouvelle nomination de tous les ministres, sauf Leduc. La nouvelle assermentation de la plupart des ministres eut lieu le 7 juillet 1938, mais les ministres qui n'étaient pas présents à ce moment furent assermentés plus tard. Selon l'Assemblée nationale du Québec, cette assermentation de Coonan, Fisher et Bourque aurait eu lieu le 12 juillet 1938. Selon la notice de Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec, elle aurait eu lieu le 13 juillet 1938.

English: From left to right : Thomas J. Coonan (minister without portfolio), Martin B. Fisher (treasurer), Ésioff-Léon Patenaude (lieutenant governor), John S. Bourque (minister of Public works) and Alfred Morisset (clerk of the Executive council). Photo taken when Coonan, Fisher and Bourque were sworn in for the second time as ministers of the government of Maurice Duplessis, after the resignation of the government decided by Duplessis to expel minister François Leduc from the government and reappoint the other ministers.
