[edit]DescriptionConversion of pan Watercolors to Emulsified Linseed Oil Paints by David S. Soriano.jpg |
English: Conversion of Pan Watercolors to Emulsified Linseed Oil Paints by David S. Soriano I am a chinstry professor and artist. I emulsify linseed oil with water ( 3:1 linseed oil to water). I add an emulsifier ( lecithin can work at home) 0.5 g to the water. I warm the linseed oil to 50-60 deg c and melt a few grams of spy wax. After homogeneous cool to 37-40 deg ca and stir the oil while adding the water. Place in blender 3-5 minutes to yield a creamy emulsion. Add a few drops to the watercolors blend and paint. I used poster board. It will dry in 15-30 minutes at 20 deg C. |
