| Description |
English: This image blends cultural buddhist practices with modern day flavours. Framed within the net of a children's playground, a Bhikku can be seen taking an afternoon stroll around the neighbourhood park. Culture far surpasses an individual act or item. Depicted in this image isn't a specific performing art, nor is it an explicit tradition found in buddhism. People are in and of itself culture. Within our community, not two steps away from our doorstep, lies an unfathomable and unseen heritage and culture. |
