Description
English: Construction works at the railway station of Tornio in Finland. The area around the station is going through various changes in 2024. These changes include dismantling/constructing railway tracks, demolishing a bridge, and building a new passenger platform, among other things. All of this is done as a part of the Laurila–Tornio–Haparanda railway line electrification project.
Suomi: Työmaata Tornion rautatieasemalla. Asema-alue on vuonna 2024 erilaisten muutosten kohteena. Näihin kuuluu muun muassa raiteistojen uusimista, yhden sillan purkaminen ja uuden matkustajalaiturin rakentaminen. Kaikki liittyy Laurila–Tornio–Haaparanta-rataosuuden sähköistämiseen.
