Summary[edit]

Description
English: Conkers. Conkers are the nuts of the Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), a deciduous tree the seeds, leaves, bark, and flowers of which have been used to treat a variety of conditions and diseases. During the two world wars, horse chestnuts were used as a source of starch. It grows to a height of over 30 metres and the nuts are used for the popular children's game conkers.
