Summary[edit]

Description
English: Conduit Head In this area are the springs which supply Trinity Conduit Head. This is the starting of a lead pipe over two kilometres long which was built in 1327 by the Franciscan Friars to provide a safe ware supply to the people of Cambridge. It was assigned to Trinity College by Henry VIII in 1538, and still (partly) supplies the fountain in Trinity's Great Court.
