English: Concrete tank obstacles, Pondfield Cove These concrete obstacles are at the head of Pondfield Cove, between Worbarrow Tout and Gad Cliff. They are remnants of Second World War anti-invasion precautions. The area - commandeered by the War Office in 1943 - remains under the control of the MOD, still used as a firing range. |
