Complete copper alloy single loop oval buckle. c.1250-1400AD.
Description
English: Complete copper alloy single loop oval buckle medieval buckle, dating c. 1250-1400AD.  The buckle has a two angled knops flanking five grooves, the central one acting as a rest for the pin.  There are two further angled knops at either end of the narrowed strap bar.  There is a copper alloy wire pin.

This example is well preserved, with a dark grey patina.
